What is Choice about?
Choice is an international programme approved by the Catholic Church. It is recognised by the Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore and an affiliate of Catholic Family Life.
Choice is dedicated to serve young adults to revive the true spirit of Christianity; to love one another like Jesus loves us, unconditionally.
Do I have to be a Catholic to attend?
No, we accept anyone from any religion. There is no judgement, and we seek to create a safe space for all.
I am currently in a relationship, may I join?
Of course, as long as you are not married yet.
I prefer singlehood, why should I join?
We are all called to life-giving relationships with our family, friends and community, whether single, dating or married. Come and discover what a life-giving relationship really means and how you can also experience one.
How long is the CHOICE weekend?
It is a 3 days, 2 nights stay-in retreat. We have 2 formats: The first begins on a Friday at 7:00 p.m. and runs until Sunday ending with late afternoon/evening mass. Where a public holiday is available, the second format begins in the morning of the Fri/Sat at about 8am and ends in the afternoon of Sun/Mon with afternoon mass.
Changes may be made according to the needs of the particular retreat.
What will my accommodation be like?
As we have a few retreat venues, accommodations are gender-based and can be single or twin sharing.
How much does it cost?
The retreat is an affordable getaway with all meals and materials provided. As costs differs depending on the retreat venue, please refer to the details at our PARTICIPANT FORM page.
